Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a method of treatment in which very fine needles are inserted into the skin at specially designated points.
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine to correct imbalance in the channels of the body.
Modern research has demonstrated that Acupuncture is effective for the relief of musculoskeletal pain such as sciatica, low back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. It can also be used for acute injuries such as tennis elbow.
Acupuncture can be used as an independent treatment or in combination with other physiotherapy interventions for a more holistic approach.
