Rheumatology is a specialised area of medicine dealing with bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and the immune system. There are over 200 rheumatological conditions some of which need the skills of an expert team.
This page is designed to introduce you to the Horder Centre’s specialist team of doctors, nurses, therapists and technicians who can help you with your condition. We work closely with you and your family doctor to find out what is causing your symptoms and to provide the best treatment we can for you.
Some rheumatology treatments involve coming to hospital for a day. However, many of these treatments can be given in our dedicated Day-Care area at The Horder Centre.
