About The Horder Centre

Our Results:

At The Horder Centre, we pride ourselves on the excellent results (outcomes) we deliver.

We also understand the importance of listening to patients and acting on what they say.

As a result, every year we undertake a service questionnaire to find out what our patients think of the care and service they have received.

In our latest questionnaire, covering the period January 2009 to December 2009, 3,913 questionnaires were sent out to patients, with an amazing 73% response rate. Patients clearly wanted to give us their seal of approval.

Overall patient satisfaction was at 99%

99% said they felt cleanliness at The Horder Centre was good, very good or excellent

99% of patients said the care was excellent, very good or good.

98% of patients said they would recommend The Horder Centre.

99% of patients were satisfied with the information given at pre-admission, 97% with information provided while in hospital; and 94% with information about what to expect after leaving hospital.

Patient reported outcome measures:

In order to ensure our satisfaction levels remain high over time, a long term audit of patient-reported outcomes, following hip and knee replacement, was conducted.

The audit utilised recognized measurement tools and patients’ own perception of change in the pain, stiffness and other side effects of damaged and diseased knees and hips.

The study revealed that for the vast majority of patients, there was significant improvement following their operations.
