Staff receive management awards at a recent awards presentation
Several of our staff have been presented with prestigious leadership and management awards.
Among the awards presented at a recent ceremony at The Centre was the Margaret Fenwick Prize Of Achievement.
Pre-Assessment Sister Eve Prentice scooped the award set up in memory of the late Mrs Fenwick, a former teacher and inspirational business manager. The award is run by training provider ILC Learning, which works with The Horder Centre to deliver Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) accredited or endorsed programmes.
Nominees for the award, presented by Mrs Fenwick’s son Andrew, were judged on punctuality, supporting others, thoroughness, determination, resilience and the ability to ‘go that extra mile’. Second prize went to HR and Training Co-ordinator Sarah Burkin.
Certificates for Leadership and Management were presented to The Horder Centre employees Hazel Haffenden, Gemma Robinson, Samantha Garratty, Debra Stork, Sarah Burkin, Kheira Eyles and Eve Prentice.
Diane Thomas, Chief Executive of The Horder Centre, said: “The ILM certificates and the fantastic Margaret Fenwick Prize Of Achievement allow us to recognise and reward the amazing efforts by all our staff who ensure we deliver the highest quality care to our patients, crucial when striving for the best outcomes.”
